We design and manufacture custom electric motors, optimizing the design to improve durability and reduce energy consumption and material usage.
We ensure on-time, environmentally responsible deliveries — our commitment is to minimize waste and promote efficiency at every stage of production.
In the field of production, ELVI has implemented an Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System , applying it throughout the entire production process — from mechanical machining to the assembly and testing of permanent magnet DC electric motors and gear motors — with the goal of ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability.
Operate in full compliance with applicable European, national, and regional regulations, periodically updating the assessment of their applicability. Make targeted efforts to eliminate hazards and reduce health and safety risks, thus preventing injuries and occupational diseases. Continuously improve employee engagement and participation in achieving the company’s policy objectives, defined at various organizational levels. Monitor and manage activities relevant from an environmental and occupational safety perspective through a control program. Make every effort, organizational, operational, and technological, to prevent pollution of water, air, and soil. Ensure that the causes of injury or illness are minimized or prevented altogether, and promote the search for and implementation of all appropriate measures to protect the health and physical and mental integrity of workers, with particular attention to work situations that may pose health and safety risks.
With a view to anticipating the needs of personnel and safeguarding their physical and mental well-being, the organization pays particular attention to the work environment and to relationships among colleagues, committing itself to consultation and worker participation, also through their representatives. Ensure that environmental protection, energy consumption reduction, and minimization of environmental impacts are considered primary elements in the company’s strategic development policies, and minimize, where possible: the consumption of energy, water, and raw materials, encouraging recovery where possible and adopting the best available technologies (BAT); the production of waste, embracing the principles of precaution and prevention, and managing storage areas in such a way as to protect soil and subsoil; the use of non-renewable energy sources, favoring the use of alternative or renewable sources, also in relation to the constantly evolving available technologies. Evaluate environmental and health and safety impacts of activities with a broader perspective also oriented toward the life cycle, promoting resource optimization and the development of a circular economy. Plan and pursue objectives, verifying their achievement and implementing, if necessary, appropriate corrective actions. Adopt all necessary technological and management measures to prevent and respond to emergencies. Promote within the company a culture of environmental and safety protection through information, training, and instruction of all staff regarding the operational and behavioral standards to be followed, making them aware of the importance of every action in achieving expected results and of their responsibilities. Maintain or promote open dialogue with local communities and authorities. Raise awareness among suppliers and involve them in the environmental and occupational health and safety management system. All activities carried out by personnel, managers, and suppliers/collaborators must comply with the ethical principles set out in the Code of Ethics in terms of legality, loyalty, fairness, good faith, the value of human resources and respect for individuals, gender equality and child labor, as well as respect for the market.
